As part of a PhD position at Radboud University, I supported the university's language policy and the language center through research on the post-entry language test (in Dutch and English) and by examining studetn writing samples and the writing process. Other duties included teaching (MA course Language Testing) consultation with stakeholders and language test pratitioners at the university, and professional development courses.
Professional Experience
Work included a large range of projects in assessment research, validation, benchmarking, and development. Noteworthy project include leading a team of item writers for a major internationa client, designing a LOTE test at B1 for Australia's national translation authority, and participation in a major research project for ETS (IELTS integrated writing).
In-house language trainer for Cultural and Education section of the embassy. In addition to teaching, I was responsible for copy editing, curriculum design, and materials development. Also led or contributed to language-related projects associated with important events; 2008/2012 Olympics, state visits, outreach programmes, and institutional-level research.

Academic Service and Community Engagement
Coordinate webinar planning and delivery in collaboration with Special Interest Groups and the Graduate Student Association. Contribute to maintaining a visible and accessible webinar series for the professional community.
